Delete your Duetoday account and data

Short answer

First cancel any subscription (Settings, Subscription, Cancel plan, or in the App Store or Google Play). Then open Settings and choose Delete next to 'Permanently delete your account and data'. This opens a chat with our team, who confirm and delete your account. You can also email hello@duetoday.ai from your account's email address.

Before you start

Export what you want to keep. Use Export PDF or Export DOCX on Galileo sessions, and Export as PDF on notes.
Cancel your plan so you aren’t charged again. See cancel your subscription.
Leave or hand over any team you own. See team seats.

Steps

Open Settings from your profile menu at the bottom of the sidebar.
Find Delete account under Account: “Permanently delete your account and data”.
Choose Delete. A chat with the Duetoday team opens.
Confirm your request in the chat. We may ask you to confirm from your account’s email.
Watch for our confirmation that your account and data have been deleted.

Can’t sign in? Email hello@duetoday.ai from the address on your account and ask for deletion.

What gets deleted

Your profile, uploads, recordings, Galileo sessions, notes, flashcards, quizzes and other generated items.
Some records may be kept where the law requires it (for example payment records) or to prevent fraud, as explained in the privacy policy.

If something goes wrong

The chat doesn’t open. Your browser may be blocking it. Email hello@duetoday.ai instead.
I was charged after asking for deletion. See cancelled but still charged.

Does deleting my account cancel my subscription?

Cancel first to be safe. We'll also make sure your plan is cancelled when we delete the account.

Can I get my data back after deletion?

No. Deletion is permanent. Export anything you want to keep first.

How long does it take?

We confirm by chat or email and process the request as soon as we can, usually within a few working days.
