Cancel your Duetoday trial or subscription

Last updated · 1 min read

Short answer

Open Settings, choose Subscription, then Cancel plan. Stripe's cancellation screen opens; confirm there. You keep access until the end of your trial or the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again. If you subscribed in the iPhone or Android app, cancel in the App Store or Google Play instead.

Before you start

  • Know where you subscribed. Website subscriptions (Stripe) are cancelled in Duetoday’s settings. App Store and Google Play subscriptions are cancelled on your phone.

Steps: cancel a website subscription or trial

  1. Sign in at www.duetoday.ai.
  2. Open Settings. Choose your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then Settings.
  3. Choose Subscription.
  4. Choose Cancel plan (under your plan and renewal date).
  5. Confirm in Stripe. Stripe’s cancellation screen opens. You may be offered a discount to stay; you can accept it or carry on cancelling.
  6. Check the confirmation. Stripe shows the date your access ends. You won’t be charged again.

Steps: cancel in the App Store (iPhone)

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone and tap your name.
  2. Tap Subscriptions, then Duetoday.
  3. Tap Cancel Subscription.

Steps: cancel in Google Play (Android)

  1. Open Google Play, tap your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  2. Choose Duetoday and tap Cancel subscription.

Tips

  • Cancel at least a day before your trial or renewal date to be safe.
  • Thinking of leaving because it’s too expensive? Switching to yearly costs less per month. See switch plans.

If something goes wrong

  • “Unable to open billing portal. Please try again.” Allow pop-ups for duetoday.ai, or try another browser.
  • I don’t see Cancel plan. You may not have an active website subscription (for example you subscribed in the app, or with another account). Check the email address you’re signed in with.
  • I was charged after cancelling. See cancelled but still charged.

Frequently asked questions

If I cancel during the free trial, will I be charged?

No. Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing. You keep access until the trial's end date.

Do I lose my notes when I cancel?

No. Your notes, sessions and study tools stay in your account. Subscribe again to use them.

Can I cancel from the email reminder?

Yes. The trial-ending reminder email has a link that opens the cancellation screen directly.

Does deleting my account cancel my subscription?

Cancel your subscription first, then ask us to delete your account. That way you won't be charged while the deletion is processed.
