Before you start
- Have your bank statement handy with the date and amount of the charge.
Steps
- Check the dates. Was the charge on or before the day you cancelled? A charge on the trial’s end date happens if you cancel after it.
- Check your invoices. Open Settings, Subscription, Manage Subscription. The Stripe portal lists every payment and whether your plan is set to cancel.
- Check for a second account. If you signed up twice (for example with email and with Google), the other account may still have a plan. Sign in to it and cancel.
- Check the App Store or Google Play. Subscriptions bought in the mobile app are billed by Apple or Google and must be cancelled there. See cancel your subscription.
- Check it was a yearly renewal. Yearly plans renew once a year on the same date unless cancelled.
- Contact us if none of these explain it. Include the email on your account, the date and amount, and the last digits of the card.
Tips
- Cancel at least a day early to avoid timing issues.
- Keep Stripe’s cancellation email as proof.
If something goes wrong
- The portal says my plan is still active. The cancellation didn’t go through. Choose Cancel plan again and confirm on Stripe’s screen.
- Read the refund policy, then contact support.
