Switch between monthly and yearly billing

Short answer

On a monthly plan, open Settings, choose Subscription, then Switch to yearly ($99/yr) and confirm in Stripe. Yearly costs $99 a year, about $8.25 a month. To change anything else about your plan, including going from yearly to monthly, choose Manage Subscription to open the Stripe billing portal, or contact support.

Before you start

A website (Stripe) subscription. App Store and Google Play plans are changed in those stores.

Steps: monthly to yearly

Open Settings from your profile menu and choose Subscription.
Choose Switch to yearly ($99/yr). It only shows on a monthly plan.
Review the confirmation in Stripe: the new price and when it starts.
Confirm. Back in Settings, your plan shows Yearly.

Steps: yearly to monthly, or other changes

Open Settings, Subscription and choose Manage Subscription.
In the Stripe billing portal, choose to update your plan if the option is shown.
If you can’t find the option, contact support and we’ll change it for you.

Tips

Switch at the start of the academic year to cover the whole year at the lower price.

If something goes wrong

I don’t see Switch to yearly. You’re already on yearly, still in your trial, or subscribed through the App Store or Google Play.
