Before you start
- A Google account with Google Calendar, and/or a Notion workspace.
- Plan needed: the 7-day free trial or a subscription.
Steps: connect Google Calendar or Notion
- Open Settings. Choose your name or picture at the bottom of the sidebar, then Settings.
- Choose Connectors. You’ll see Installed Connectors and Available Connectors.
- Choose Connect next to Google Calendar (“Sync your calendar events and schedule”) or Notion (“Import pages from your Notion workspace”).
- Approve access in the Google or Notion window. For Notion, pick the pages Duetoday may read.
- Check it worked. The connector moves to Installed Connectors with your email or workspace name.
Steps: import a Notion page into a note
- Copy the page link in Notion (Share, then Copy link).
- Open a note in Duetoday and open its More options menu (three dots).
- Choose Import from Notion. If you’re not connected yet, connect from the dialog.
- Paste the link into Notion Page URL and import. “The page content will be added to your current note.”
You can also choose Import from Notion under Add Notes on a Canvas board.
Tips
- Share the Notion page with the Duetoday integration in Notion if it says you don’t have access.
- Use the calendar connection to see classes and deadlines next to your study sessions.
If something goes wrong
- “Not connected. Please connect your Notion account first.” Connect Notion under Settings, Connectors.
- “Invalid URL. Please enter a valid Notion page URL.” Copy the link from Notion’s Share menu, not the browser tab of a database view.
- “Import failed”. The page may not be shared with Duetoday. In Notion, open the page’s Connections and add Duetoday, then try again.
- The Google window closes without connecting. Allow pop-ups for duetoday.ai and try again.
