How to use the Duetoday Chrome extension

Duetoday Help Centre · Updated

Short answer

Install the Duetoday AI Tutor extension from the Chrome Web Store, pin it, and sign in with your Duetoday account. Open it on any YouTube video, web page or PDF to generate flashcards, quizzes, mind maps or a course from what you are looking at, or ask the AI tutor about it.

Steps

  1. Install the extension. Find Duetoday AI Tutor in the Chrome Web Store (or follow the link on the Chrome extension page) and add it to Chrome.
  2. Pin it to your toolbar so it is one click away.
  3. Open the extension and sign in with your Duetoday account.
  4. Go to the page you want to study: a YouTube video, an article or a PDF open in the browser.
  5. Choose a tool. Generate flashcards, a quiz, a mind map or a course from the current page, or ask the AI tutor a question about it.
  6. On YouTube, use Learn with Duetoday on the video page to start straight from the video.
  7. Find your work in Duetoday. What you create is saved to your account, so it is there on the web and desktop apps too.

Tips

  • Use the side panel while you read so you can ask questions without switching tabs.
  • Drop in a PDF you have downloaded to study it the same way as a web page.
  • Check your microphone permission if you use dictation from the extension.
