What YouTube videos work?+

Any public YouTube video with a transcript works — including auto-generated captions (available on most videos) and manually uploaded transcripts. Videos without any captions won't work, but the vast majority of educational content on YouTube has captions. Private and age-restricted videos are not supported.

What languages are supported?+

Duetoday works with any language that YouTube provides captions for — English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Mandarin, Japanese, Arabic, Hindi, and many more. Notes and flashcards are generated in the same language as the video, or you can request them in English.

Can I use it with long videos — full lectures, documentaries?+

Yes. Duetoday can process videos of any length, including 2-hour university lectures, full documentaries, and long conference talks. Longer videos take slightly longer to process but are fully supported with no content truncation.

Does it work with YouTube playlists?+

Yes. Paste a playlist URL and Duetoday will process all videos in the playlist, generating notes and flashcards for each. This is ideal for full lecture series or revision playlists where you want everything in one place.

Can I generate flashcards and quizzes from a YouTube video?+

Yes. After Duetoday processes a video, it automatically generates a flashcard deck and a practice quiz from the content. You can also manually trigger generation for any specific section or timestamp range.

Can I chat with the video after generating notes?+

Yes. After processing a YouTube video, you can ask the AI Tutor any question about its content. Every answer cites the specific timestamp it came from, so you can click and jump to that moment in the video to hear it again in context.

How many YouTube videos can I process for free?+

The free plan includes 5 YouTube study sessions per month. Pro users get unlimited YouTube processing. Upgrade anytime from your account settings.
